A dedicated healthcare professional is sought for a critical role in an elementary school setting, focusing on mandated state screenings for students. This position is ideal for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse who is passionate about promoting the health and well-being of children in an educational environment.

Qualifications:

Valid LPN/LVN or RN license
Previous experience in school nursing preferred
Knowledge of state screening protocols (vision, hearing, BMI, postural)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and caregivers

Location:

Whitinsville, MA

Responsibilities:

Conduct mandated state screenings for students, including vision, hearing, and postural assessments
Work with grades PK-5 to ensure timely and accurate screenings
Collaborate with educators and staff to support student health needs
Maintain detailed records of screenings and follow-up as required
Provide information and resources to parents and guardians regarding student health
